A new book arrived today, I am thrilled I have been waiting for this book to arrive!

Going outside with my cup of coffee to enjoy the nice weather and start reading this book!

Thank you for all the nice comments about my basket blocks, I really just love choosing the fabrics and appliquéing them.
here are my next few ones to applique...

I know, I know I need to go with a few purples or blacks or double pinks ....but I couldn't resist making one of each from this new line!

I love those basket blocks! They look like they're incredibly addictive to stitch! :-)
I've been thinking about getting that book -- did you find a source for it in North America?

I don't blame you - having to make a basket with each of those neat fabrics! What kind of white pencil do you use to trace each shape with?

I ordered that book at Quilt Festival in Chicago and it arrived last week. It was well worth the cost. There's lots of inspiration AND patterns.
It looks like your mini baskets are really adding up. The ones from the new fabric line are great.

The new book looks very interesting. You must have quite an antique quilt book collection.

You still have enough basket blocks to make that you can easily make one of each of your new fabrics.

Isn't it amazing to see the basket blocks on the wall? The yellow ones are going to spark it up. It's growing very fast now.

Oooo...I wasn't going to do the baskets, but now I am SO tempted!

The green of the mat looks good with the basket blocks...not the perfect green, but it sure makes them look nice.
