A new book arrived today, I am thrilled I have been waiting for this book to arrive!
Going outside with my cup of coffee to enjoy the nice weather and start reading this book!
Thank you for all the nice comments about my basket blocks, I really just love choosing the fabrics and appliquéing them.
here are my next few ones to applique...
I know, I know I need to go with a few purples or blacks or double pinks ....but I couldn't resist making one of each from this new line!

I love those basket blocks! They look like they're incredibly addictive to stitch! :-)
I've been thinking about getting that book -- did you find a source for it in North America?
That is a lovely line. Did you buy the whole line and if so where? Inquiring minds want to know :)
I used a few of those same fabrics this past week. Aren't they gorgeous? And so nice to work with?! Yum!!
The book looks terrific and very interesting. Give us some thoughts on it after you've enjoyed it a bit.
As always, I love your basket blocks and I love the fabric!! So very nice. You put those together in a hurry, don't you?
The book looks very interesting. And your neatly prepared blocks make me want to applique' something!
Let us know how that book is; that's a new one to me. The baskets look like jelly candy, yummmmmmmers.
I don't blame you - having to make a basket with each of those neat fabrics! What kind of white pencil do you use to trace each shape with?
Enjoy your new book - oh, I must do more baskets, too!
Hugs - Lurline♥

I ordered that book at Quilt Festival in Chicago and it arrived last week. It was well worth the cost. There's lots of inspiration AND patterns.

The new book looks very interesting. You must have quite an antique quilt book collection.
You still have enough basket blocks to make that you can easily make one of each of your new fabrics.
