decided to make nine patches with the Minick and Simpson Fabrics, the jelly rolls are perfect for just cutting and sewing these blocks. I can really see the benefit to jelly rolls for this type of project. Its so nice that their fabric lines all play so nice together!
I can't wait to add more blocks to this quilt, its going to be perfect to use during the summer months.

fell in love with this little quilt Cyndi made! Isn't it wonderful??? again its all about the fabrics! Lucky her she owns Busy thimble quilt shop in Maine and from what I hear has an incredible selection of reproduction fabrics. Someday I will get there and get to shop in person for now I shop thru emails with her! Looking for an older fabric email her I bet she just may have some!

I love how your nine-patches are coming along! I have a huge batch of 6" ones from an exchange at my club in both '30's and civil-wars. I keep wanting to play something exotic with them, when your just looks fab on their own! Another one on my bucket list! :-D

Great way to use those MS fabrics! I too love Cyndi's quilt. The borders and sashing fabrics are so wonderful. I may have to go shopping with her after this comment.

The nice patches look wonderful with those colors.
Mine are similar, so deciding on one larger quilt or a couple of smaller quilts, since some fabric is bright, some prim.

I'm loving the way the fabrics look in nine patches. Jelly rolls can be really useful for this type of quilt. Cyndi's little quilt is gorgeous.

Wow the fabric she used for the sashing really sets this little quilt off. I hope she had enough of it to send to you :0) The one time I used a jelly roll I found that the cuts weren't always correct so I don't buy them anymore.
