decided to make a few more postage stamp blocks this week, thanks again to everyone who sent me squares, strips for this project do you see your special squares in this block? if not this block I bet in the next few I make soon.

Now its time to start my next 2 color quilt...red and white I think will be the next one!
maybe it should be scrappy reds?

Love the blue and white (cream?)quilt and I am crazy about the postage stamp blocks! So cool! Just love scrap quilts so my vote would be scrap reds - except that I worry about dye running!

Your quilt looks amazing!! I just love love it...now if is is screaming to hand quilt put it away you don`t have to quilt it yet. look at all that open space you can do gorgeous hand quilting in and then you can enjoy it too. those plain blocks can be a sampler of different quilt designs that those nine patches can frame.
Take your time enjoy the process

Love the quilts going on around here Kathie, all very gorgeous! xo

The blue and white quilt is stunning! Congratulations on finishing it. You must have had blinders on. I think I can hear it saying "hand quilt me.". I agree, set it aside for now if you would rather be doing applique. I love how you did the triangle border on it.

Your nine patches look wonderful. The long arm quilting would be quicker but the softer finish of the hand quilting would suit it beautifully.

The blue and white quilt top is classic in the very best sense of the word. The border was a wonderful touch. Just lovely.

Absolutely stunning Kathie. Your quilts are truly incredibly beautiful.

Those are both so nice. I always like to have one quilting in process that I can work on when I don't want to be cutting and assembling or while I am thinking about what to do next.

That is so beautiful! I would hand quilt it....though that's my preferred method.
Both of these are beauties!

Ohh now that's the way we like it!!! Fantastic. Hand quilting is great but it's all about priorities and time. …if only we had time to do it all. BTW, have a great day today. You sure started mine off with a nice smile.

That was fast! Love the stamp quilt too. How big are the squares?
I think the red and white with scrappy reds will be beautiful!

That blue and white quilt is gorgeous! There are lots of great open white areas for hand quilting...The postage stamp quilt is coming along nicely, every time you show another block I think,"now there is an exercise in patience".
Happy Stitching Kathie!

Your quilt is just stunning! Isn't it amazing how the simplest patterns work up to be the most beautiful quilts? Hand quilting would be lovely on it because it will be an heirloom quilt. Although, after hand quilting my last quilt, I'm not sure I'll hand quilt anything large again...I prefer to use my time to do other handwork like applique or knitting. I will hand quilt little quilts though. So glad I have my longarm back up!

If you have the time, hand quilting would be the crowning touch for the quilt. It would be nice, too, with custom machine quilting. But then that costs a lot.

I am liking that postage stamp quilt. It could be a leader and ender sewing project.

I would be too impatient to wait for hand quilting;)
That is going to be beautiful with quilting on it. I love how you work on them a bit at a time and use the wall, I think that might help me with finishing mine.

I love how your blue and white quilt top turned out. It would be so very wonderful quilted by hand. I also love the warm yummy mix of fabrics in your postage stamp blocks - they look great up on your design wall.

I agree with what your quilt says. According to me, handquilting really makes the difference ;-)

I can't believe how quickly you put this top together! It looks beautiful. Those empty squares do cry out for a special quilting design, but I bet your longarm quilter could make that happen and give you time for your other projects. I'm happy to see the postage stamp quilt again. It always makes me smile. I love it.

Beautiful quilt, do you have some one who is really good at machine quilting? I think this quilt would look wonderful with fancy dense machine quilting on it. I envy your ablitiy to get things done. How big is the quilt?

You can't beat blue and white, unless it's scrappy so you've got it covered!

Ahhh, it looks so nice on-point. I didn't comment when you asked our opinion before but I love the way it turned out.
