Here is another one of my quilts I put the binding on this past week. I thought you might like to see where the quilt resides now over a chair ready to use this winter in our living room. I used so many of my favorite fabrics in this quilt . I decided to share a lot of them with you.
just had to show you it opened up! oh my just look at all those great fabrics!
gosh how I wish I had even a fat quarter left of this blue it makes my scrappy quilts sing....
oh one of my favorite background fabrics it is just so sweet, wish Henry Glass would reprint this! Its from Judy Roche and Corienne Kramer collection...another one I wish I had yards of !
oh Patty I put this pink in for you :) thanks for adding so many happy fabrics to my fabric collection I would have never bought , now I do!
didn't you want to see the back? a cheater cloth! how fun is that? you know I have become fond of them for the back of my little quilts. I was lucky enough to buy this one on sale for the back of this quilt.
oh look at the black in there...makes the fabrics around it just sparkle, yes I have learned to add black fabrics in my scrappy quilts.
Here is one of my very favorite fabrics, that blue, another one thats all gone now from my fabric collection
oh I don't even know whose fabric it was I just wish I had a BOLT OF it (ok I would be happy with a 1/2 yard of it to add to many more scrappy quilts) all the quilts I have added pieces of it too just make me smile every-time I see it.
Did you see any of your favorite fabrics in this quilt?

It is wonderful I love that scrappy look..
Love Love Love it! I think it is the perfect scrap quilt. What is the blue fabric....I will be on the look out.....maybe I should go downstairs and look in my stash!
That quilt is like an album of favourite fabrics, to enjoy and remember past projects.
Yes, there are many favorite fabrics, and many fabrics I never knew existed!
I love a 9-patch and that x-block between them is a wonderful effect. What fun to cuddle under this winter!
What a great quilt! Love all the fabrics and the pattern. I have a couple fabrics in a different colorway. Wish I had more, especially that cute background fabric. Love that cheater fabric on the back!
Yes! I did see some of my favorites. In fact, the pink that Patty gave you is one of them. I hope I still have a little of it left! Love the quilt!
Oh Kathie, this is gorgeous! I too love all your favourite fabrics in there. The blocks are stunning! Hugs Nat

I see loads of my favorite fabrics. The whole quilt is made with my favorite fabrics! It is fun to see which ones you chose to pair up.
That's an awesome scrappy quilt, Kathie. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite fabric; they are all fabulous.
I can't choose a favorite fabric, they are all so beautiful.
It's really beautiful, Kathie. I do love all of the colors you've pointed out to us. This is really a stunning quilt.
These scrappy quilts are such a nice touch to the home.
What an amazing scrappy quilt! I love all the fabrics. Scrappy quilts are just so much fun!
A gorgeous quilt! I enjoyed the fabric tour and got a kick out of how much you love your fabrics!
What a great quilt! I love the backing too!
This quilt is fantastic! I love all those fabrics.....they are gorgeous! I couldn't pick a favorite....they are all great, and look so great together! And yeah....I think every quilt needs a little black....and orange! lol
Such a perfect scrappy quilt -- love the tour of fabrics!
Gorgeous! So many lovely fabrics--you really have a wonderful assortment!
Oh Kathie, it is so beautiful. BTW, I learned at the AQSG seminar that we don't call it cheater cloth any more, we call it printed patchwork. :)
Kathie that is truly an amazing quilt...I just love it...chock full of fabulous fabrics...doesn't get any better!
Oh, yes, you've put several of my favorites in your quilt. I love the X block setting for your nine patches. Thanks for showing it to use. Kathie L in Allentown
Beautiful fabrics and you make them so happy to be together........
oh i love it hugs mary
Love all of the fabrics....I see many that I have used in my quilts and have in my stash waiting to be in a quilt...Wish I had some of the ones you want more of I would share with you... but I don't have them ....Thanks for sharing! Carolyn :)
That is one gorgeous quilt. I love it! Not sure that I see favorite fabrics, but so what? I bet they're there if I look hard enough. Wonderful!
Your quilt is so wonderful with such a great collection of favorite fabrics. You have a talent for combining such a variety of colors and patterns.
Love this quilt! Kathie, I love every block you have photographed and more! I have to say, that blue block steals it for me!
It's hard to use up favorites in your collection, but how great that you get to enjoy them all in one quilt that you're keeping. Sometimes when I know I'm going to have visitation rights to quilts I make, it is easier to use that last bit of fave fabric :)
Beautiful quilts. Love the fabrics.
A wonderful scrappy quilt!! I really like that 1st blue you pointed out too. I find it hard to use up the last bit of something I really love. I have to remind myself that my new favorite fabric may just be arriving at the LQS :0)
Absolutely wonderful and oh yes...I see many favorite prints in there!
Beautiful quilt and lots of different fabrics that you can enjoy looking at, love the different types. I do love the idea of cheater cloth, though I was able to snag some nice flannel yardage with paisleys to use on a nice quilt.
Debbie
Fun quilt! You can snuggle under a fabric collection to drool over. Would be great to reprint many of these. The printed patchwork back is fun too.
This is one of my favorites of yours, and that is saying a lot! I just want to know how you will sleep under it - I would be looking at the different fabrics all night long, I think!
Sometimes I don't know what my favorite fabrics are until they are cut up. I am consistently surprised.
I just love looking at all of the wonderful prints. That is a great scrappy quilt and great setting.
All those wonderful colours together make this quilt sing! Its wonderful that you highlighted your favourites for us. I love the black block, black is such a strong colour I'd be nervous just having 1 black but you've shown us how it does make the other colours sparkle! The backing fabric is so fabulous too!!
Really beautiful! And what fun that you have fabrics from friends there. Just lovely.
I like that lovely srap quilt!!!
Greetings from Holland
Beautiful pictures Kathie!
Always love to see your interesting fabric collection.
It's just beautiful, Kathie!
What a great scrap quilt, I'm tempted to start one of my own. I love that pattern and you choice of scraps is inspired.Don't you hate it when you use every last little bit of a favourite fabric?
So nice to see such a bright and happy reproduction style quilt. I love all colors of quilts but these bright ones really speak to me.
Congratulations on the stunning finish! Yes, they are great fabrics but it takes special talent to put them together in a way that shows them all to the best advantage.
LOVE it Kathy...Really showcases the beautiful repro fabrics..

i saw quite a few, so lucky for us that there's always new wonderful fabrics for us to become fond of.....scrappy quilts hold such favorite fabric memories.....
Awesome quilt! Love all of the wonderful fabrics I see, and I would love to cuddle up in this one this winter.
This is my favorite way to look at the repro fabrics I've come to love -- fabrics in abundance, colors combined for fun and contrast, everything and anything. Scrappy quilts are my favorite, and this one is superb. It's another on my endless bucket list.
Wishing I had more of many of my fabrics is the reason I'm hesitant to put my rotary cutter to them. I love them, but I don't want them to disappear into a quilt. Now, how stupid is that?
Droooool! Absolutely beautiful!
Hugs - Lurline♥
The fabrics and design in this quilt really make my heart sing. I LOVE scrappy quilts. Cool backing as well. Ahh -- the fabrics we wish would we never run out of!
What a beautiful collection of fabrics and look lovely together in your quilt. A real showstopper.
Georgeous! I love all the fabrics. Every piece has it´s place... all scrappy.
Happy quilting
Bea
what a winner - love the combinations
the back is just great on this one!
You have done it again, another wonderful scrappy quilt!! I see many familiar fabrics, too hard to pick a favorite.
I agree that the blue adds a lot to your quilt. Very slick to include that. Beautiful work, as always.
I'm picking up my jaw from the floor - this is a beauty :)
Hugs - Karen
Just had to leave another comment...I LOVE this quilt...

It's a celebration of fabrics! Love it an awful lot.
What a wonderful quilt!!! I love the scrappiness of it, and I imagine it could be a great favourite in time!!! I have a winged-back chair the same colour as yours!!!
I love this pattern. I save it on my to do list for years! Love to see the fabrics you used for this quilt.
How thrilled you must, what a beautiful quilt!!
What a gorgeous, gorgeous quilt. I just love scrappy quilts. It's so much fun looking at all the different fabrics. I must remember to add some black to mine. And yes, I do see some of my favourites in your quilt. I had gotten into the bad habit of saving fabric and looking at it instead of using it. But now, I use everything, and if I run out, I just buy more! There are a few good on-line fabric shops that carry Civil War fabrics. Not quite as much fun as going to the quilt shop, but the quilt shops in my area do not carry that type of fabric.
I love that design - just a gorgeous quilt. How much fun looking at all the different fabrics. Thank you so much for sharing! I want one now!!
I just drooled on my new Marcus Brother Tavern Blue paisley piece! lol Gorgeous! You know, my birthday is coming up and it would be such a sweet gift! lol Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
