pure beauty to me....turkey reds and just look at those blues and browns... I have been waiting for this fabric line for so long. Friendship by Howard Marcus of Moda.
Now why oh why did I only order only ONE fat quarter bundle? I should have ordered a few, or at least two, I will need another one as this needs to be made into a quilt for ME! now I have to wait for the order of turkey reds from this line....

If your remotely thinking about redoing your sewing room or looking for ways to store , organize and just "dress up" your sewing room this book is for you. Better Homes and Garden Studio Spaces I bought it a few weeks ago and have looked at it everyday. It is a quilt room dream book.....
the photos in this book are to die for, when I grow up I want a sewing room (I still have a hard time calling it my studio) like so many of these ;)....someday. click on the link and you can see a preview of the book, be prepared to be awed!

I bought these two greens on Friday , my first non reproduction fabrics to use in my reproduction of antique quilts. The colors are just perfect for those mid 1800's Baltimore Album, and red and green quilts I love so much. Thanks Corienne ( a quilt historian friend ) for your help!
Thanks to those of you that said buy the fabrics that the color is right, I did it!

Ok...what's the name of the greens.....?

I am always looking for some to match the few I use in my sparse green reproduction stash. They do look real good in the pics.

Thanks,
Barbara

Great minds think alike! I ordered up that tower last week. When it gets here, I'll decide on which pieces I need a little "extra"!!

I would order two bundles so I have one to admire and one to cut up. The greens really are quite perfect for some reproduction quilts.

Oh, that "Friendship" line makes my mouth water. Just beautiful. I think I'd better not click the link on that book--it would just make me covet what I can't have. I just barely got a sewing room and design wall last year. Since I got my new machine earlier this year I can't afford to do any remodeling to the room. : )
I think those greens will do the trick--fit right in!

That's a stunning stack of fabrics. I think you need another bundle. LOL

Need to find that book - looks like it has a treasure trove of ideas.

I bought those fabrics too but in half yards. They are the prettiest Collection for a Cause line, I do believe.

That book looks great. I have a couple that have inspired me to do my room over and that's what I 've been working on for the last few weeks. Feels so good to have it done. Thanks for the link to it :)

Blessings,
Sue

Gosh that book. A phrase that caught my eye while I was perusing the pages "a place for everything." I'm mentally making a list. Hmm…

Such great fabric. Looking forward to what you create and oh Kathie those greens. Good lordy be!!! Sensational greens. Absolutely yummy sensational.

Great post.
