Two little quilts back from the machine quilter, just how cute are those little baptist fans?
making progress on my hand appliqued blocks, 4 more to go. I am excited to finish this as I have a few new antique quilts I want to reproduce! I am trying to stay focused and finish this one first before starting something new (old!).
only a few more blocks to make, really happy with the way this quilt is turning out. I love how the different value of cheddars keeps the eye moving around the quilt.
so far I have only repeated the red fabrics once, by mistake I must add. I was trying to use a different red for each block, the cheddars have been repeated. Now to decide do I keep the two reds in there?
Did you see on Betsy's blog she also used this antique quilt from For Purpose and Pleasure book by Sandi Fox as isnpiration for a little quilt ? Its adorable and now I have to make a small one too for my wall of little quilts! Julia made the quilt for her and I just love it. Isn't it great that we are all inspired by antique quilts?

Your applique is on my to-do list. Love that. And you are moving right along on your green with the cheddar. Love the cheddar!!!
beautiful progress on your appliqué Kathie, very inspiring! and wow your nine patch is growing...
Your appliqué blocks are looking great. Good for you being able to stick with it before starting something new.
Baptist fans is one of my favorite quilting designs and I love how your small quilts look with the smaller size fans.
It's so much fun seeing the different ways the cheddar and red quilt has been done by different quilters. I'm really happy with how mine is turning out.
Precious! A little mini is still on my list. And your 2 WIP's are looking wonderful.
Oak leaf and reel one of my favorites!!
Just love all of your quilting and wish I had your energy, lol.

Oh my goodness! I love the one on your design wall especially. It makes a bit impact!!
Your little quilts are adorable and the applique is coming along nicely as well. Nice work Kathie!!
Beautiful progress going on at your house. Love how the cheddar is coming along. I think it would be fun to leave in the the two reds. Kind of a Eye Spy thing.
What a great little quilt and I love fans too, they just add a nice touch to a quilt.
Beautiful Baptist Fans on the minis!
Your applique is gorgeous, of course.
The quilt on your design wall sings!! Absolutely think the different valued cheddars makes all the difference!
I'll be curious to know if you leave in the duplicate red or not. I'd probably leave it--kind of the "humble factor" to the quilt. : )
They are all so amazing! Thank you for the inspiration!
Your little quilts are very cute! I love the way your red, green nd cheddar is coming along.
you call that a little progress?
I call it a lot!
your pink lemonade looks great and I like the oak leaves too - the pieced one is a beauty
Lovin' the big quilt on your design wall.
You are making very good progress. Nice projects. Still love the colors in the big quilt on the design wall.
Wow! You must have a lot of reds! I'd love to do that one as a mini. All your projects are beautiful. You've been very busy!
They are all lovely, but the big one is yummy.. Hopefully I have time to do some piecing in the near future
Nice to see your little quilts all ready! Love the cheddar and the reds!
Do you know what what color your setting triangles will be?
Wonderful work there!!! I love the Baptist Fan quilting design too, such a classic!
Your applique blocks are looking good as are is the green/cheddar quilt top, this will be quite spectacular when finished!!!!!
Just stunning!! You have a great eye for colors.
You know I'm loving your little quilts with those fans! How cute!
This is my first time on your blog. I SEW loved your little quilt and all the other blog comments. Be back soon.
Wow! You've been busy. I love it all. I think it is fun that you repeated one of the reds in the cheddar/red/green quilt. You should leave it in and challenge people to figure out which one is repeated, ha-ha. The applique is beautiful...I am really drawn to red and green applique quilts. There's one on my bucket list...
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
Wow Kathie, I LOVE the appliqué!! It's beautiful. I really like your red and cheddar nine-patches as well. Gorgeous!
