My latest little quilt! I think I have officially moved into a pink /green phase! the blocks are 4" finished, quilt is 16.5 x 22.5" no pattern I just decided on this block and went with a layout I like.

The winner of the kit is Karen from Nana Girl Quilts Blog Karen can you email me and send me your mailing address please.
Thanks for all the nice comments, I really wanted to know what you liked best about the blog
links to new bloggers to me, my book reviews, showing quilts in progress with tips...new fabric purchases. pictures of some of my favorite fabrics even if they are 5 years old :)
I was curious as to what you liked so I made sure I continued to write those type of posts. Guess I should have worded it better!
again Thanks I truly appreciated all the wonderful comments as well as the amazing emails I received from so many of you.

congrats Nana!

what I like best are the tips and tutorials. I love to see ready quilts and new fabric. Books are not for me.

Your new baby is very pretty.

Congrats to the winner! I have never been a pink fan but seem to love it in antique/civil war quilts! I hope it is not a phase!

Lucky Karen!
Very sweet little quilt. I rarely use pink outside of repro fabrics. But in my repro drawers I have a bundle of 'em! I don't know that I have ever paired it with green. I'll have to give it a try! : )

I am looking forward to more of what you create in your pink and green phase. That is one of my very favorite color combinations and the possibilities are endless. I am just catching up on some blog reading so I am off to read what else you've been doing lately.

This is what I love about your blog--I know you love quilting & fabrics like me--so you talk my language!! The projects are fantastic--you try different colors schemes which make me want to try to use color in a different way. You share things you have learned or tried so others know what to expect from a book/ruler/tip from another blog that you researched. You share your fabric purchases so others can justify why we need to go to the quilt store!! You explain your ideas clearly. I also love your design wall. There may be other things I can't think of right now--but I'll get back to you when I remember. Have a good weekend.

Kathie, I wasn't able to enter your giveaway but thank you for doing it.
I like your blog for the simplicity of it; you post as if you were talking to me, and I like that.

I'm absolutely loving all your dolly quilts. If I could still sew, I'd be copying each and every one!
