Todays quilt to bind. I made this one a few years ago and had planned on hand quilting it. I had Lorre machine quilt it with pumpkin seeds in the alternate blocks, in the ditch in the square in a square block and feathers in the border. Another great quilting job, brings the quilt to life and stays with the traditional look I just love. The quilt is 28" square. Its nice to have another quilt in the finished pile!

Reminds me of a combination of a few Pa quilts I have seen over the years. The colors, the blocks, and the quilting. The pattern by Ann Hermes was published in Quilt Magazine a few years ago.

Kathie,

You have been busy! Love both of these quilts. I did not see the previous one when you posted. I really like the color combo. Wonder if it has anything to do with red!

This one is beautiful! The border fabric is terrific - which line is that? This one sure looks bigger than 28"! Do you display these on the wall?

Love this one! I've been looking for some inspiration for a fat quarter bundle I bought a few months back. This may be it!

I never get tired of the red!! This square-in-a-square quilt is so-o-o-o nice!

Binding...ugh...I don't mind it so much, but the corners do take longer to do. So with all your little quilts, I figure you get more than your share of corners! (and not enough "straight-a-ways!")

If anyone could meet the 450+ little quilts goal, it would be YOU! Lovely work!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)

I Love this one! The fabrics, especially the blue and the red border, are wonderful. I don't like doing binding so I have a quilt waiting to be bound that has been ready since November! I had intended to put it on the bed for winter but guess it will wait until this coming winter. The binding on your small quilts must go a lot faster than on a queen size quilt.

Beautiful - and that red border print is to die for! Is it the same fabric that you used in your Spot quilt?

I love that blue in there! Perfect. Another gorgeous little quilt. :)

But... I have to say it. You don't have nearly enough binding clips on that little quilt. You really need at least twice that many. Trust me on this.

Love it! Inspirational in both the finishing up of a long-languishing project and in the color/design. The red border just makes it even more wonderful.
