It's all about the fabrics!
I am still working on my postage stamp blocks, I like making a few at a time so they don't wind up looking all the same. I am always cutting squares and putting them in a bin to use in this quilt.
I really want the blocks to have lots of variety. This quilt will probably take me another year to complete. I made another block yesterday.

Holy Postage Stamp, Batman! Awesome.
You have really come quite a food ways on this. And yes, I do recognize quite a few fabrics. Looking good!

I think I see a piece from my stash...it is the 3 block from the left in the 4th row...lol amazing feat! Are those 1 or 2 inch blocks...can't remember?
What's not to love! Absolutely amazing!
That is amazing. What a great way to chronicle your fabrics!
I haven't worked on my stamp quilt in a good while. I had an idea that I wanted to think about for a bit before going further. 10,000 squares sounds like a whole lot of work!

Love it! Yes, I have seen some of my fabrics in this. I do love postage stamp quilts, but I have only made small, doll quilt sized ones.
Now that is going to be one cool quilt! Awesome!
My jaw just hit the desk. This is amazing! And, yeah, I recognize a piece from my stash - the one right there next to that red one! ;) You're totally my hero du jour!!
Awesome. What is the size of the blocks.
All I can say is, WOW!
I bet you have a bit of everything in there!! What a great quilt!!
This is so great! I totally want to do one now, too!
what a masterpiece!! OMG
I couldn't agree more. I've been working on one by hand for the last few years (http://rie-quiltbee.blogspot.ca/2012/03/youve-got-some-mail.html) and the more variety I can get into it the richer it becomes. It's like a quilt diary of projects that I've worked on and those that family and friends have been working on too (they've been kind enough to toss a few 2" blocks my way). Keep going - it looks great.
I love that and so many blocks with different materials, you amaze me with the projects you do.

This is scrap magic, Kathie! Absolutely incredible!!
This is so inspiring!
WoW oh wow! That's all I can say! I have started cutting 1.5" squares from scraps to do this also. So far all I have is a basket of squares waiting for more pieces to get more scrappy before I start sewing! Yours Looks wonderful!
