they arrived and well I couldn't help to start cutting up my scrap basket....
I fell in love with the one she showed on her blog with the reproduction fabrics ;) not surprised are you? Of course I have made a few tumblers already but not one like this.....
AND the thing I loved about her template is the multiple uses (check out Thelma's blog post she did a great job describing all this CRUMBLER can do!) it will have and the SHAPE
its different then the tumbler shape I made my first one with.
here is the first picture I took after I cut a few tumblers :) I just couldn't stop!
AREN'T YOU TEMPTED?
don't you want to make one too!
I am giving away one Crumble template and patterns are included to one of my readers I will pick a winner Friday the 14th.

Wow! You did cut lots of Crumbler blocks. Loved the one Carrie did in repros, too. Can't wait to how big you make yours. I love that Carrie used Thelma's name for the template!
I have always wanted to make a tumbler quilt but thought it would be time consuming to mark and cut all the pieces. It looks like the Crumbler will make the job so much easier and a lot more fun. Thanks for sharing!
Love your new quilt! It's a great layout of tumblers. This design is one of the few modern quilts I have been interested in recently. Never did I imagine it was made with tumblers. So fun! How cool would it look to have a wide border of this design going around a quilt center..with the direction of the shapes all pointing inward! Thanks for the chance to win...very sweet of you!
I saw Carrie's and Thelma's posts about the Crumbler. Looks like a really useful tool. Like how your quilt is looking.
Inspiration. Yes, I am tempted.
Wow it goes fast.Love the Crumble template. And do I have the scraps. Thanks for the chance.

It's bad enough that you get inspired by this kind of thing but then you go flashing it before everyone's eyes and make them want one too! Just think of all those sad losers running out to buy one for themselves!

Just the template I need for some stash Candy Parade fabric I've been hoarding. Your tumbler quilt is a beauty.
Id like to win the Crumbler. I'n always looking for ways to use my stash and the Crumbler would be a great choice! I lived in Des Moines 30 years ago. Are you too young to remember Mrs Wiggs Cabbage Patch, in Beaverdale? I took my first quilting class at that shop and Mike was a wonderful teacher.
Gloria

The quilt looks masculine to me!
Kathie,
I'm sorry that I confused you with another favorite site....of course you don't know Des Moines shop owner!!I don't know how to remove the post!!
Gloria
Ooooo, I haven't made a tumbler quilt yet. Of coarse, it is on my list, but I haven't started it yet! I would love to try that new template, it looks very helpful. You are right about the scraps, I am on quilt number four and still have lots left! Maybe this will help me use up the rest?
Love the quilt, I did one years ago using a rubber stamp then cutting out 260 tumblers and when I use that wall hanging you think about all the scrap from different quilts or scrap that people given you. Sally from Oregon
this looks like fun. I would love to win.
tvbart@charter.net
Great way to use up scraps! Really cute.
I would love this template! I like the fact you can cut the side piece and have no waste. I have made three tumbler tops and will make more.
I have made my own templates for large tumbler and thimble size. I have used the stamp and ink template, and I have had a friend cut tumblers on her Go! cutter. I'm just a tumbler kind of gal.
I'd love a new template to try out!
Thanks
Dawn
This looks like such a fun template to own & create with.
Thanks so much for the generous give-away!
Fab template and I love the rather retro sixties feel to the doubled tumblers as elongated hexagons! This would look just as good in some funky retro modern miniprints as it does in your lovely reproduction selection. I'll have to treat myself to one of these templates :-)
I would love to win it and give it to my daughter who is beginning to quilt.
First lessons.
A sampler she is making.
Greetings from Janny Schoneveld
